It's absolutely impossible. Almost all spyware uses Active-X to deliver its bad payload, which is only a component of the Windows version of IE. Any application that cleans spyware off of Macs is just like any of the apps that supposedly prevent viruses on Macs. Pure snake oil. I'll repeat: The is no such thing as either spyware or viruses for OSX. There were a few viruses for OS 9, but they were so rare you didn't have to worry about them either.
