This is what I want. :o)

I am using a DSL modem
And a
Linksys Etherfast cable/dsl router model: befsr41

Will this work? 
If so, is it showing up as the local phone company's IP addy, right now? Or
do I have to do anything to make it happen?

I want this because I am a bit rebellious.
Yahoo is tracking people's footprints on the internet, by their IP addy. I
just want to throw a wrench in it, without having to opt out. ;o)
Plus I figure if yahoo can do it, others could too. ;o)
