Gosh just get peerguardian for your mac and add the IP Addresses of Yahoo's 
trackers or attempted attacks, to the blacklist and that'll keep these 
suckers out of your pc or able to do damage to your pc  it's also used 
heavly by file swappers on the gnuttela networks to keep the FBI , Studio 
companies from snooping around at your files to see what you have to 
share.... Comcast is actually on the top 10 List of whom are being watched 
by Big Brother due to too much fileswapping on their services ;o)

Yahoo is tracking people's footprints on the internet, by their IP addy. I
just want to throw a wrench in it, without having to opt out. ;o)
Plus I figure if yahoo can do it, others could too. ;o)
Your public IP will still be seen; it's simply moved to your router instead 
of being on your computer.  It has to be - otherwise packets could never 
get back to you!

If you really really really want to obfuscate your public IP, then route 
yourself thru several open-proxy servers.  That way the IP the destination 
(eg: Yahoo) sees has nothing to do with you.  Of course, you pay a serious 
performance penalty for doing this, but...
