Is the inability to support slave drives the only drawback to revision 1

should be aware of before I take the plunge here.
Slave drive support can be added to the Rev 1 motherboards by upgrading to
the Rev B ROM. I would avoid the Rev C ROM, as I've heard some people have
Hard Drive quirks after installing it.
The only real difference between the Rev 1, 2 and 3 motherboards, is the graphics hardware built into the motherboard.
The Rev 1, has an ATI Rage II+ chip.
The Rev 2, has an ATI Rage Pro chip.
The Rev 3, has an ATI Rage Pro Turbo chip, but Turbo drivers were never
written for it, so it still uses the ATI Rage Pro drivers. The Rev 3,
is also needed if the rare DVD version of the Personality Card is installed.
However, if you use a PCI graphics card, you really don't have to worry about
the built-in graphics.
