Sorry if this has been asked before, but Mail's acting up and I can't access my
old digests...

Is it possible to boot one of these from a FireWire drive? I've set it in OS X
to be the startup volume, but when I boot, it shows that little question mark
and folder thing, and then picks the last drive I booted from. I've tried
holding down the option key, and also shift-command-option-delete, neither got
me into that screen where you can select the startup drive, and the second
combination got me into safe boot instead. I've seen and used it on my G4
Powerbook (when something else happened), which has no issues with starting
from the Firewire drive the normal way, but does the G3 not come with that? Am
I hitting the wrong keys? Can it just not boot from them, period?

Thanks!
