There is a new ATI rom updater for the Radeon series in a mac -
apparently solves the flashed card sleep problems too - should be fine to
apply it with all the flashed Radeon 7000 pci cards except those with the
slower memory. Most have memory rated at 5 but there have been a few cards
with slow 7.5 rated memory and - once again - this rom update may cause
artifacts as 7.5 ram will not like to run at 183mhz. A quick look at the
last digit on the memory chips on the card will tell you - usually 4 or 5.
I don't know whther it will fix the Quartz problem - perhaps PCI Extreme
has not been updated for 10.3.7.
