It was a shame, but is making a bit of a resurgence in the DVD Recorder
market. IIRC, it's a much sturdier medium.

Peeve: I received a TiBk appx 1-1/2 yrs ago with (only) a combo drive.
Reads all sorts of DVD media fine - except DVD-RAM (!). Sigh. You would've
thought Apple *might* have asked for that from the manufacturer,
considering how they pushed the format in the early G4 days.
