10.2.6 update, then the 10.2.8. Worked fine. Did not have the problem updating the G4.
Maybe just happens on some G3s.

I'm trying to update a 10.2.1 install on a Beige DT. I downloaded the 10.2.8 Combo update because software failed several times and once the "Disc copy" finishes and the checksum it closes and no install takes place. This is driving me nut's. It also makes Apple look pretty bad. I've had less trouble recently using Windows Update on PC's abd that is un-natural. Any ideas?
