Like most types of files you save in Photoshop the options you chose
will determine their usefulness to others. JPEG's saved with the "
Progressive" option can't be opened by most programs PC or Mac. I have
been creating and sending files to PC/Mac and others OS's for years
.jpg's and PDF are the easiest to share. Causing the least trouble,
when you save in Photoshop use standard not optimized or progressive
and you should not have problems.

Oh? When I save as a jpg in Photoshop, winders folx can't open them. I
open it and save as in Jpegview, ad they can - but its file type is
PICT. A jpg is not merely a jpg, it is some type of flavor...

A jpg is a jpg. Wether viewed on a Mac, windows, linux, Sun, Cray,
