I suspect that it is someone subscribed to the G-List or the Swap List, because these are the only two lists that I'm currently subscribed to. I have also recognized a couple of the addresses like Bruce and Psycho-Punkin. The rest are completely unknown to me. The offending machines must have our addresses.
I don't know what, specifically, the virus is. It's in the form of either two or one .6KB HTML attachments that claim to be octet streams. I don't have virus software on my Macs and I am not going to buy it to diagnose some other person's problems. When I put a pc on the network it always has virus checking software on it, and it's never used for email.
I realize that some of you have to use a pc for your own reasons to correspond to the lists, but please, be responsible enough to make sure the computer is clean first and don't transmit some CTD along to the rest of the community.
