Hi Lavode!
I found an interesting article on dead pixels. Most companys have a policy about an acceptable number of dead pixels. Check it out:
http://graphics.tomshardware.com/display/20030319/
OVERAM 1 defective pixel Apple 6 defective pixels Compaq 5 defective pixels IBM 8 defective pixels Dell 6 defective pixels H.P. 5 defective pixels Sony 5 defective pixels ViewSonic 5 defective pixels
I don't know how current it is but at one time, specifically with laptops, Apple would replace a laptop if it had any stuck on black pixels and some (higher) number of stuck on white pixels. The theory being that with a largely white screen a stuck white pixel wouldn't be so noticeable. A stuck on black would however. I don't know if it still applies or if it applies to desktop displays.
