I haven't yet installed Firefox (downloaded it). I've heard nothing but compliments by my PC friends. Knowing I use a Mac my friend told me "its available for mac too, you should get it"
Anyone in the list has run it and can tell me if its really as good as they picture it (at least for the mac). To me IE is terrible, Netscape is not that great, and Safari doesn't yet convince me. Specially because now its the first time I can actually run it at all [Safari] (it would unexpectedly quit on my 10.2.6 config and earlier, also it did crash the last time I used it.
ANy helpful info I should know?
Lili
I put the Win version on my Win 98 (400MHz) PC, and we use it there in preference to IE. It is slower, but more secure.
I put it one one Mac, but it couldn't import any data from Safari. I use in order of preference: Safari, IE 5, and FireFox.
