CD/DVD-ROM on Zip Drive bay in G3 400 B/W

I've been looking all over the web for information on what to do with it. Its empty now, and I certainly dont intend to put a Zip drive or SuperDisk drive or anything along that matter. I did see someone mentioning in the MacWorld forum that someone else had replaced that with a CD/DVD rom drive by modifying the bay (no details and no links shown). I certainly could use that bay for something more useful than a Zip or SuperDisk drives, those things are obsolete to me. I want to leave the Apple CD-ROM drive where its sitting (to boot the mac off CD if I need to), how can I add my IDE burner in the Zip bay? Anyone can provide a link, I've searched all over google, no luck.

Thanks
Lili

Lili, the easiest solution would be to replace the CD-ROM drive with a bootable IDE burner. That is what I did to the original DVD drive which came in my B&W. In fact, I replaced it with a Lite On combo DVD/CD burner. Works great and I still retain the original look and functionality of the bay cover. Just my $.02 worth.
