I have a stock 333 Mhz Beige tower that has been giving me all sorts of problem with the intermittent blackouts running OSX 10.3.x and X PostFacto. I have several Beiges running Panther successfully, but this one is giving me fits. Someone just gave me a 300 Mhz Beige tower that I'm going to try to see if it's any better. If it is, I was wondering if I can move the 333 over to the 300 motherboard by simply transferring over the jumper block and the zif.

You can most likely overclock the 300 to 333 with no problems just by moving the jumper block over. I have overclocked a few beiges that amount with no ill effects.

Or, you could get some of the smaller jumper pins and try out the settings on the following page:

Note that playing with the BUS-Clock and PCI-Clock settings are only for the truly adventurous. Stick to the 66 MHz Bus and try the 333 or 366 settings. Some zifs take overclocking better than others and, iirc, the 300 was not one of the best to overclock.
