I am using netscape 7.0.2 on my 7600/g3 OS 9.0.4 and on my Wallstreet 9.2.2 with no problems, Ebay, Paypal, and my bank. I was using netscape 4.79 and IE 5.1.7 on my 7600/g3 and powerbook 3400/200 OS 8.6. I began to run into problems about a year ago (Paypal and Ebay, with both netscape 4.79 and IE [I never use IE on any transaction involving my finances!]) and then changed to mozilla and netscape 7.0.2 per a lister advice. I can't use firefox since I'm running OS 9.x on my mac and wallstreet, and OS 8.6 on my powerbook 3400. But I have some projects in progress that will involve OS X.x, then I will try Firefox. Wether we like it or not technology changes very fast, especially in the States, most times anyway, and businesses have to keep up if they want to compete and that usually means using the latest technology. Unfortunately for those of us who like classic macs our options when it comes to browsers is becoming limited. But wait a minute, opportunity is the mother of all inventions. Most people who use older macs are very inventive with a lot of wonderful ideas as has been demonstrated in this list regarding this topic. The market really drives what businesses do, not us classic mac users - we could if there are millions of us!
