Start using iCab 2.9.8. Exlporer's age makes it unable to accept newly coded security certificates. Pay for iCab Pro now to support development of the finished browser, which will be fully modern for Mac OS 9 and higher versions of OS 8 (and maybe earlier versions, I am not sure).
