Had Larry not killed two Macs in short order (ha ha)
I personally don't quite see what's so funny about it...
Or have I misunderstood your comment ?!?
Bruce is making a pun, because what probably happened to the two Macs
is that the USB *short*ed something, which killed the Macs. Bruce
then said they were killed in *short* order. Two uses of the same
word...
"Short order" of course meaning "one right after the other."
My friend now has two seemingly phucked iMacs thanks
to a crap USB hub, something which is not in any way
foreseeable, and however I look at it, it just doesn't seem
the slightest bit funny...
It's not the killing of the Macs that's funny... it's Bruce's use of
the word "short."
