Hey Drew, your old ram isn't necessarily usable in your new G4. I've got a bunch of 256MB sticks of PC133 SDRAM that work great in a B&W but can't be seen when installed in my Sawtooth or my Quicksilver. I'm not sure what the difference between the speccs is, chip density perhaps? Were I you, I'd spring for (or borrow) a ram module that is specced specifically for the AGP G4 Macs.
