I have kept my mouth shut for the most part on this. It took me a while to switch over to the OS X environment . I was a big advocate for OS 9 because I was extremely familiar with it. Some things certainly worked better than in OS X. I do not believe that OS X is the end all be all because I have as many problems with it as I did with OS 9. They are just different problems for the most part.
For me, the most annoying things about OS X are the memory allocation. I work with heavy graphics files and it does not always do a good job of allowing me a good amount of memory. Programs also crash for the silliest little reasons even though it is nice that the whole system does not go down. And my biggest gripe is that I cannot work ahead of the program. I have to wait for each command to be executed before I can move forward. That is it for me. Now lets end this conversation because there is good and bad with both and it all depends on what you need out out if. matty. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
