It�s my understanding that OS X Panther does not work with SCSI. I had a
Nikon film scanner and a flat bed that I couldn�t get to work either.

Somewhere in the mountain of Panther info I�ve read that there is no scsi
support for scanners. And you can�t access them through Classic mode either.

I made a partition on one of my drives and installed a separate OS9 System
(not your Classic mode OS9)  and booted from that when I wanted to use the
scanners.
