Many thanks to Ross on this list. He guided me step by step to upgrading my G3 AIO. I used the 83/33/415 jumper setting and the PowerLogic Cache Enabler. Now I have a G4/415 (with an L2 Cache) All-in-One!
Also thanks a lot for the other people who responded. I very much appreciate it. These lists are indispensable. MaxTek ------ Hi, I have a G3 AIO and just got a "Apple Yikes G4/400" zif processor with heat sink. I installed it and Apple System Profiler, Gauge Pro and Metronome all show it as a G4 running at 233mhz. Is this because I need to change the jumper setting on the motherboard? Or something else? I have searched on Google for hours and couldn't find an answer. Does anyone have a site or instructions. Also A.S.P. shows no L2 cache. Do I need a cache enabler mentioned on some of the sites I did read? They seemed to be for OS X. Thanks, MaxTek -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
