Have you used the Powerlogix 1.0 ZIF OWC is highlighting this month? =
I am seriously considering it for my 233MHz G3 ... even though I am also =
seriously considering getting a G5 (and still keeping the G3).

Let me throw $.02 in here.

I was *VERY* happy with a PowerLogix G3/800 ZIF, a 750fx chip w/512K cache @ full processor speed.
Their 1 GHz+ G3 ZIFs are 750gx's w/1 MB cache, again @ full processor speed. The bus multiplier of the fx/gx chips is software adjustable, meaning you can change processor speed without opening your Mac's case or restarting. As with all PL upgrades I've ever owned, they are very overclockable. I easily ran my 800 @ 900 MHz in my B&W, and didn't try to push it to 950 or higher. I also ran it @ 833 MHz (83.3 MHz bus) in my Beige All-In-One for a few days, just to see how well it would work.

Having said all that, I wouldn't recommend spending over $200 for a G3 upgrade for your Beige. I'd shop around on the Swaplist and/or ebay for a 500 MHz+ G3 or G4 ZIF for maybe $150 max.
