Sonnettech is the best place for upgrades; they've been stable for years, not bouncing back and forth between bankruptcy and solvency.
As with all general statements, "best" is frequently a matter of subjective opinion.
I, for one, find it much more helpful when listers share their relevant experiences rather than their opinions.
Powerlogix has had its problems but I wouldn't eliminate them from consideration just yet.
I've had superior performance from all of the Powerlogix upgrades I have used.
My experience with PL has been similar, but it's limited to upgrades for desktop Macs. I've used their 604e PowerBoost Pro, PowerForce G3 daughtercards, and PowerForce ZIFs (G3 and G4), and been uniformly thrilled with their performance.
