I personally think this is awesome. I'd use a Mac daily except they are far too expensive. I'm sure Apple will stick with proprietary hardware even on the x86 side and I'd put money on it that they will offer AMD also, eventually. I think we'll get an Apple priced out like a mini with a CPU like a G5. But I really want the OS not the hardware. If I could go out and put together an Intel system and load OS X on it that would be fantastic. Just my humble opinion though.
