The beige fileserver project is coming along nicely. I have the desktop case almost ready to go. I will mount the 2-120 Gb HD's where the zip and present HD are and mount the boot HD in the position under the top area. Does anyone have an extra HD sled for a beige they aren't using? That would be nice. If not I suppose I could advertise for one on the swap list. From all I've read from countless googling, I think 10.2.6 will read the FAT32 formatted SCSI drives just fine. If it works that way then I will copy everything over to the new drives and reformat the SCSI drives. Can anyone tell me which format (standard or extended) would be the best for a fileserver application and why? If they are not recognized, then I will have to copy everything over via the network, which will take a good bit of time. Also, how much space will a stripped down version of 10.2.6 take up? That and the backup software is the only thing which will reside on the boot drive. Thanks for everyone's help in this matter.

Just a message from Doug...
