richard if you have learned and are handling OS 9 (with all of it's many short comings OS X is really easy ...in fact their is a really great "lettle' book called "the Mac OS X Conversion Kit - 9 to X - 9 to 10 side by side" by Scott Kelby (Peachpit Press) $29.95 US.
this book shows you in photo's of each and every function in detail. You are shown a OS 9 function on the left hand side of the book and the same function using OS X on the right hamd side of the book ...its a great reference. I moved over to OS X about 2 years a ago with great fear. I had upgraded to a Quicksilver from a Mac such as yours, so as to make the move to OS X easier and to give me a better platform to grow from.
