I just checked a beige that we have here running 10.2.8 and it's at version 1.0.3 also. So, it looks like that is the last supported version for Jaguar.

Unless someone else has tried a Panther version and it worked.

I have Safari 1.3 running on my beige, (10.3.9 - with a little bit of help from XPostFacto).

I am pretty sure 1.3 won't run happily under Jag.
