I agree about the top posting (also trimming), but Apple's software
designers seem to feel differently: at least if there's some way to
make Mail place the insertion point at the *end* of a Reply instead of
at the beginning (used to be easy in OE) I haven't found it yet.
Anybody have a fix?

"To keep your comments from being mistaken for part of the original
message, click to place the insertion point before or after the
original message and press Return before typing."
