The original post asked how to tell the difference between a rev 1 and rev 2. No where on the page does it say that updating the firmware will update the rev of the board (it's impossible, the rev 1 and 2 are primarly hardware changes). The page you linked to, and I searched for "firmware" and rev, has only a singe link to the "Firmware Update Feedback Page". That page, when searched for "rev", refers to a version of the firmware that was seen on a rev 2 motherboard. Again, nothing about finding out which rev of the board the B&W has, nor does it say that to get a rev 2 board, one has to update the firmware.
