Yeah, but its definitely my processor getting overwhelmed.  Going not just by 
"top", but by the chart in activity monitor.  It happens while using a java 
app, from pokerroom.com.  its an online poker game that ran very smooth is os 
9, but now in os x while using this app it commonly uses over 50 percent of the 
processor.
