Hi listers,
I have a combined DVD/CDR in my G3 server running OS X 10.2. I can read
Data from DVD but cannot play commercial movie on DVD. Is there a cure
for that? TIA

Do you have the hardware decoder - like a radeon mac edition/7000 or
similar graphics card?

Pete

Under OS X you don't need a hardware decoder. That's only needed under OS 9. My B&W running 10.3.9 plays DVD's with only the original Rage 128 Pro, without the decoder since mine didn't come originally with a DVD drive. It also worked fine under Jag.
