Hello all,
Recently I purchased Panther 10.3.3 and just now I realized it was a DVD disc and not a CD. My question is, can I use a Windows machine that has a
DVD player and load the data from the 2 disc onto the desktop and then
somehow get the data to my Mac? I have about 16 Macs all on Ethernet but not the PC.(In fact I need to get it from the attic.) Could I connect the PC to
Ethernet and then have a Mac share the info?
If so, then could I burn the data from the PC onto my Mac burner?
I hope this question hasn't totally confused anyone. It has me.
Thanks all,
kim

While this *might* be possible Kim, the easiest way, as others have suggested, is to install a DVD-ROM drive into the computer you wish to install 10.3 on. I found a genuine Apple CDRW/DVD drive at OWC for only $34.95 plus shipping and that would give you the ability to burn CD's as well. I have a combo drive in my B&W and use it to watch DVD's and burn CD's all the time. Works great. You can find this drive here:
