I wouldn't do an upgrade at all, as upgrades are always trouble. Instead, boot your Sawtooth from the Tiger DVD or CD and (after backing up all of your documents to the iBook in FireWire Targeted Disk Mode) just wipe the hard drive and do a clean install of Tiger. Should run great.

I want to ultimately upgrade my Sawtooth's OS to Tiger... but it runs 9.2. So... in order to make the step up to Tiger- 1. Do I need to upgrade the Sawtooth first to OS X 10.0.3? (is this the "next" step up from 9.2 to get me towards Tiger?) 2. If I get OS X 10.0.3, can I *then* upgrade straight to Tiger, or do I have to go through other versions first? 3. How much should I expect to have to pay for this upgrade? (for the various CDs or DVDs) FYI - the Sawtooth is upgraded to 1 GHz and has 1.25GB RAM.
