The thread about renaming your Mac made me wonder what names people
have chosen. Do you choose something descriptive, fun, or both? At our

Well, mine are certainly not very imaginative, This Blue and White is
called B&W, my beige G3, currently used as my fileserver is
fileserver2. You might think my old PC fileserver was called that
also, but it was Nicole, after a friend at work and my granddaughter.
The iMac upstairs is iMac, my Pentium 4 is P4 and I have not yet
decided on a name for my new clear cased PC game computer, temporarily
named clearcase. Of course my Quadra 700 upstairs is called Quadra and
my old K62-300 Mhz PC is called Speedy (One time was the fastest
computer I owned). I have a Pentium II system I use to experiment with
new operating systems and it usually has several different OS'es on it
at one time so I called it MOS (Multi-OS). I have a friend/neighbor
who has used Beavis, Butthead and Stewart for his computer names for
quite some time now.
This may not be very well suited for the G-List, but I've enjoyed
seeing all the different names people use for their systems.
Just a message from Doug...
