OK, my frustration level is peaking! I have been trying to make the transition from OS 9 to OS X. I have managed to get Mail to be able to SEND messages, but not to receive. Seems like it would be harder the other way around!

It seems simple enough, but entering what I thought would be the correct info gets me nothing but error messages such as: The user name and password are not acceptable to the server.

Any clues from a successful Verizon user?

I am using OS X (10.2.8) and Mail version 1.2.5 (v553).

Ken
