I'm currently using the Apple OEM version of the UL2D (only one
internal connector rather than two like the retail version) in my B&W
running 10.3.9; third such config I've set up. It's run flawlessly
with all flavors of 10.2 and 10.3, with Seagate 10K Cheetah LVD's
attached. I've heard more than one person on this and other lists
claim that data transfer drops to 10 MB/sec with 10.3 and later but I
noticed no such performance hit when moving from Jaguar to Panther, and
the Apple Knowledge Base articles I've been able to find make no
reference to any such phenomenon.

I thought that Atto wasn't going to release a firmware update for OSX and the UL2D. Did that change? What version of the firmware are you using? Do you still have the Apple version installed? If so, are disks on the Atto UL2D bootable?
