When I boot up the G3 B&W, i get this finder icon in the middle of the screen with a question mark flashing in front of the icon, but then proceeds to boot up into OSX perfectly normally. Can people give hints as to what this might be telling me? For further info, it has both OSX Tiger in OS9 in separate partitions on the HDD, has had a new combo drive installed, a Radeon 7000 installed, and memory upped to 1Gb, which has been recognised perfectly in system profiler - ( from Ram Direct if people want to know). This icon was flashing up anyway before the extra memory was installed. Any ideas?

I had this same problem last week after a faulty OS10 install on my B&W Rev 1. However after I reinstalled (successfully) it went away. It still does it when changing back & forth between OSes (the two OSes are on different HDs, so I have to change the Startup Disc), but I guess that's normal, just looking for the "new" OS.
