However, switching drives in order to boot is a lesson in futility and also, people have reported problems using Toast to burn music bought from the iTunes store using the latest version of iTunes. As for Ken's question regarding drives, I've had great success with the LG drives (knock on wood). I am currently using the LG 4163B dual layer DVD burner. It's bootable, has dual layer capabilities, burns DVD+R discs at 16x, DVD-R discs at 8x, dual layer discs at 2.4x, and it can also use DVD-RAM discs. All I had to do was use Patchburn 3 in order to get it to work natively. I also use Toast, but as I said above there are some things Toast can't do.
