Anyone remember what model # Superdrive was stock in the MDD dual
1.0GHz?
I think it was a 2x Superdrive, but I need the model 3.

I did a little research for you to figure this out. It would seem that
since all the specs such as Mactracker and AppleSpecs do state it was
indeed a 2X drive, the Pioneer model number would be a DVR-A03. The
-A04 was a 4x drive.
The following pages provide enough hints with use of a bit of deductive
reasoning.
