This will not work two different ways in which the motherboard is set
up and if you went G4 you would not want to mess with G3 anyway just
make sure whatever mac you go to has ram I recommend 512 or larger for
Tiger.

Sawtooth or other early AGP based G4s? Is the slot/power/whatever
itself different, or is it just that in general, people wouldn't
*want* to put a G3 processor in an AGP based G4? The 900mhz G3 still
feels fast enough to me, and I'm sure it's probably faster than the
400-500mhz G4s, so if there's any way I could upgrade to an AGP G4 but
use my old processor, I'd like to know.
