Wow. What a difference from the B&W 450. And with that core image video card, it's really pretty. :-)
However, there is a catch or two, per normal for a used machine. Nothing major in any case. The CPU fan and shroud are missing (and I'm not going to pay 30+ bucks for a new Apple OEM one as I found at one site) The big 120mm fan in the side sounds like it may be going bad. This part, I took a look at last night. My question: Is that fan supposed to blow in or suck out the air? When I looked at the fan, it is blowing onto the logic board (the label of the fan can be seen when it is installed into the bracket, which does match the picture in the service source doc, but the quick silver portion of the doc shows the fan as blowing out). Really, it seems to be semi-irrevalent on the direction, since the fan doesn't appear to be sealed against the holes in the side of the case. Is there supposed to be something there, some kind of ducting for the fan to pull air in?
