I installed a 533 MHz processor from a Power Mac G4 Digital Audio, into
my G4 Sawtooth AGP Graphic, which I bought from Apple as a 350 MHz.
When I pull-up the "About this Mac" it responds with "Processor 400 MNz
PowerPC G4" and when I go to the "System Profile" it has the same
information.
I'm running OS X 10.3.9 so I switched back OS 9.2.2 and that OS had the
same information.
Does anyone know 1. Why, 2. How do I correct this information.
The previous owner of this processor says that when it was in his
Digital Audio that his platform reported a 533MHz operating speed.
