Think of the buss speed as the size of a drain - the
larger the drain the faster the water flows.

As you max out your beige with both handware and with
newer and newer software the slower performance
becomes.

Todays software was designed for todays bus speeds and
processors - in the end a 66MHz is simply half the
size of a 133 MHZ - and the 66 MHz has fallen out
standard while the 133MHz is still handing in there.

Where as a Mac with OS X (10.3.9) using a 733 MHz chip
with a 133 MHz bus works great - that same Mac
upgraded to a 1.4 MHz chip with the same 133 MHz buss
- kisks ass!

It one thing to get a beige to work with and handle
todays OS X - and thats a good thing - but user
friendly usage is another thing and simply put at some
point a newer Mac becomes the only real solution.
