Just installed Iomega Tools 1.0.2.2 on my B&W (OS10.2.8), for use
with the Zip100 Z100ATAPI internal drive.
The Zip100 disc, when installed, does not appear on the desktop, and
I cannot therefore open it or eject. There is nothing in Iomega Tools
to help here.
Could be a problem with the drive itself. Mine have always worked
with OS X without loading the Iomega Tools (USB Zip with OS 10.1 and
10.3, internal with 10.3 in a Sawtooth). Did you try it before
loading the Zip Tools?
I did. No go. This drive and disc work fine when the G3's booted in OS9.2.
I've got to say, I've been rather impressed with the way OS X
handles a lot of new hardware without the need to load drivers, to
the point that I always try new hardware before bothering to load
any related software.

I wish... but the same drive and disc work just fine when the G3's
booted in 9.2...
Then what I suspect is the Iomega tools. Is Classic running? If so
kill it, and see if it works,
Classic not running... no difference.
