Hi everyone,
Having a problem with the installation of my new Pioneer DVR-107
drive for my Sawtooth G4. Just got it today.
Getting the thing "in" the machine worked fine... got all the
connectors hooked up, etc. Seems to be great, until...
I put the plastic front ("faceplate"?) back on the front of the
Sawtooth... now that it is back on (it covers both the CD/DVR drive
AND the ZIP drive) - the DVR tray will not come out... not enough
room. Apparently by only a millimeter or ?
Please advise... this is ticking me off! I have looked online and
found 3 different installation instructions... but none of them
mentioned this problem.
Right now when the Pioneer DVR tray tries to "pop out"... it cannot.
The plastic thing on the front of the Sawtooth doesn't allow enough
room. If I leave the front plastic thing (that is part of the case of
the Sawtooth) off, the DVR tray works fine, but then there is open
space on the sides that would allow dust, etc into my computer. :-(
