Or you can also begin typing the name and before you get to the space
just press the tab key and it'll auto complete it with the back
slashes all in the right place.

The cheater way is to type cd, then drag the cd icon into the
terminal window. In reality, if you want to tell unix to interpret
the following special character as the actual character, you use a
"\" like this:
cd ~/Desktop/My\ Cool\ Folder/Stuff
