Hummm, I've learned that WAP will keep out people driving around my
neighbourhood looking for a "path of least resistance" open connection.
If I see a couple of skinny young guys with thick, horn-rimmed glasses,
pocket calculators and laptops sitting in front of my house speaking in
computerese, I will begin to worry once more.
At least I might start changing the wap password often enough to make it
easier for them to drive around and look for the next open connection
then to hack into mine.

which, if anyone has learned anything in tis thread, means you have
to not only give up on encryption & restriction, but must turn off
your WAP, smash it with a hammer, and bury the pieces under a stump
at midnight.
Meaning, nothing you can do will really matter in terms of absolute
protection. It's a moot point- it such a protection does not exist.
