Replying to my own posting here, but I seem to have solved this.
Seems selecting 'unknown' in the add printer part of the web interface
sorted it all out.
Test print printed fine too.
All I need to do now is find some free software (i'm skint) to use my
SCSI HP Scanjet 6100C with, VueScan works perfectly
with it, but alas I cannot afford it at this time.
