Hi Bruce et al.,
I tried the 10.3.6 combined upgrade on the darn iMac and
again no go! After the upgrade the thing comes up with
the gray apple and that't it, no spinning wheel, zilch.
This beats me. Could the problem be memory-related? That
the iMac gets pickier after the upgrade??
I have no internet on that Mac yet and can't use OS9, I
copied a good 9.2.2 system from my beige to the 37-gig
partition but it is not seen as a valid system by OSX
10.3.0.
When I try to start a Classic app I get the message "the
OS9 system is newer, shall we try to load the older
version, anyway" (translated from Dutch), so I canceled
that.
I've been busy with this thing for hours and hours and
getting a bit tired ...
Any more suggestions, anyone?
Thanks! Jörg.
