I use a white Mac USB (side connectors) keyboard. I wanted a PC keyboard
but sellers here do not offer white or beige USB keyboards, just black.
TI share it wwith a PC. Thhe PC recognizes most keys, and after some tweaks
the only thing I caan't do in the PC is to open the CD-ROM drive with the
top right key.
Some repeating keys that I hope to fix soon.
The keyboard works better with my PC than with my Desktop G3 running OS9. I
recently bought a Sawtooth G4 at ebay that will solve that issue (delivery
in January). The G3 will drive a SCSI drum scanner.

I was using numerous standard PC keyboards including an illuminated
Packard Bell model - The backslash, double quote, pound sign and numerous
other keys were all mapped to nothing, or other things on the Mac. In the
end, it was too much of a pain in the neck and worked out much less hassle
to hook up an Apple Pro keyboard to my KVM switch and use Apple-like
keymaps on the Windows/Linux systems hooked up to it rather than try and
set up the Macs to even vaguely meet up with the standard Windows
keyboards. Plus, the pro keyboard is ergonomically superior to and much
prettier than any of the PC keyboards I was using.
